This is a day lighting study of the done on a rough model, in November. It shows how the day light effects the stairwell space throughout the day .

View 1 and 2 at 1:30pm the atriumreceives some sun. This should be shaded though louvers
View 3 at 1:30pm: the stair receives light from above through the sky light.
View 4 at 1:30pm: the stair is within the shade
View 3 at 4:30pm: the top of the stair revies quite a lot of light.
View 1 at 4:30pm: the atrium space is within shade
View 2 at 1:30pm: the atrium space is within shade
View 3 at 1:30pm: the facade receives sunlight only at this time.
